Jaixia
London-based multidisciplinary artist Jaixia returns with “All My Love to You”, a song about releasing someone with grace and rediscovering your own strength. Rooted in nature, textile work, and sound, her art bridges emotion and healing with ethereal beauty. Accompanied by a stunning video filmed in Indonesia with cinematographer Juan Cruz Impallari, the visuals mirror the song’s message — an ending that glows softly with love. I spoke with Jaixia about her journey, creative process, and the message behind this heartfelt new release.

Hi Jaixia, how are you? What's your story?
I’m good thank you ! I’m currently in a very busy phase with it being my birthday month and juggling different creative projects, which I am grateful for.
I am a multidisciplinary artist from West London, spanning music, sound healing and textile art.
What did you grow up listening to?
Growing up, my mum was always playing music around the house... From Lovers rock, to Motown classics to the Carpenters. I also loved musicals, and classical music. I suppose it sounds quite eclectic on paper, but all of those stories moved me deeply, they lit me up.
When did you know you could sing?
I remember singing Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story’ for the first time at my school talent show in Year 6. I practiced and listened to it religiously (it helped that it was my favourite song!) I was quite shy and quiet in school, so nobody expected I might sing. I think I performed it acapella, and I remember how the audience (kids, parents and teachers) fell into this complete silence... Then the round of applause came, and it cemented this feeling of finally being seen and heard. It felt like I had finally unlocked my true voice.
Could you list a few records that influenced the music you are making today?
Cleo Sol - 23
Ravyn Lenae - Inside Out
Jhené Aiko - calm & patient
"All My Love to You" is your latest single - what's the story/inspiration behind this song?
All My Love to You, at its core, is a love letter to myself. A reminder to remember my own inner power: “to stand tall, speak up and be proud of every version”. Which means accepting every version I have been and will be in the future. I’ve had a tendency to really rely on my daydreams (daydreaming is my favourite pastime). But on this occasion I realised I was outsourcing too much of my happiness to someone else, wanting to be viewed through their eyes instead of my own. I concluded that, to truly honour myself in the present, I had to let go, with love and intention, of the idea of what could potentially be.
Could you describe the songwriting/production process behind this song? When did you start working on it? Who helped you create it?
I usually start by writing a song in my bedroom with my guitar and voice notes app on my phone. It was around 3 years ago now that I wrote this track, the lyrics were already on my heart, I just needed the right chords and melody to unlock them. Once completed, I took the demo to my producer Levi Yarde who added a whole new dimension to the instrumentation. It’s always fun to see an acoustic track transform in the studio.
What did you feel when recording this song?
It was a very cathartic experience… I love that feeling of creating something from what you’ve experienced; like turning lemons into lemonade. I still remember that buzz of excitement, the first time hearing it back.
What's your favorite lyric on "All My Love to You"?
“Running out of daydream territory”
What can you tell us about the artwork?
I created the artwork, I wanted it to feel like the envelope holding the song as the love letter.
What do you want people to feel when listening to this song?
I want them to feel empowered and emboldened.
As an artist, what is the hardest part? And what is the best part?
The hardest part for me is trying not to focus too much on how well the song does “commercially” and instead being grateful for the individual messages of how the song has impacted someone. Or even just the fact that I know I’ve created something special, and realised my vision to the best of my ability. That is worth celebrating.
What are your thoughts on today's music industry? If you could change one thing, what would it be?
The music industry still feels like something of an enigma to me. It can feel quite shallow at times, which I’ve struggled with. I wish independent artists were offered more support and true mentorship, and were paid as well as the others involved for gigs and streams.
What is the proudest moment of your career so far?
My proudest moment has been building and attracting my community organically. They are the most beautiful, creative and intuitive souls. Hearing from individuals how my music has been received by them, and is a part of their daily routine, means so much to me.
Besides music, what are you passionate about?
I love telling stories across different mediums. One of my passions is textile art and eco printing, which I am trained in (BA). I particularly love to amplify stories of women, heritage and the earth.
What biggest lessons have you learned so far?
Throughout my journey I’ve learned to really trust my intuition and inner voice, which has led me to where I am today. For a long time it felt muffled, but the more I did outside my comfort zone, the more my confidence and self belief grew.
In your opinion, what would make the world a BETTER place?
The acknowledgement that we are each on our individual and collective journey. Let us give people grace to make mistakes, learn and truly grow from them. As Maya Angelou said:“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.''
